West Millbrook Middle School Healthful Living
Things you need to know:
- Respect is what will guide our class. Please respect Mr. Gross, others and his/her property including their rights and feelings. Most of all and respect yourself!
- No student has the right to keep another student from learning.
- Late work will be accepted for partial credit within one day from deadline, unless determined otherwise (make-up work for absences due according to board policy)
- Water with a lid is permitted. No other drinks, gum or candy will be allowed!
- PE- Participation (30%) + Dress Out (20%)= 50% of Healthful Living grade
- Health- Test (18%) + Quizzes (17%) + Classwork (15%)= 50% of Healthful Living grade
- Each Student will need to bring to class a 2" 3 ring binder, pencils, pens, paper for taking notes, and student agenda.
- Mandatory Uniforms are required for class. They can be purchased from your students Healthful Living teacher for $20. This will include both Shirt and Shorts. Both can be sold separately upon request.
- All work is to be done in class and will be turned in at the end of the class period. If the classwork is not turned in, the student will recieve a 0 for the assignment. If the student receives another 0 on a different assignment, the student will be ZAPPED and will have to stay after school on a designated day.
